It is hard to predict the future down the road but I personally cannot see there ever being a one-world government without nations. The main reason for my view on this is because I feel it would be way too hard to implement and be sustainable. If you look at today, there are hundreds of nations with many different styles of government. I just don’t see one person or group of people to basically take over the world and transform it to where everyone lives under the same government structure. This leads me to my next take, nationalism is stronger in some nations than others and when you try to budge with that people will not take that nicely and there are likely to be many wars caused because of this. If you look at history, this has proven to be true in many ways with government nations trying to overthrow different nations and causes a full out war for a lot of years. Culture plays a big aspect in this as well, people like to surround themselves with people of the same views and values. It will not be easy to force people to join the rest of the planet Earth to all become one nation essentially. Culture will feel like they are not being represented on a large scale and will simply not stand for everyone to be “one”. Everything going on today with the protest and the civil unrest not only in America but other nations who have supported the struggling system of humanity is a glimpse of the extent of what could be if there is going to be an effort to become one globally.
