Is “Sex Tourism” a reason to outlaw prostitution everywhere or legalize it?

The topic of sex tourism is debatable. Some people are for it and on the other end there are people who are against it. I personally think sex tourism should be legalized it any places that want to have. Giving any country the opportunity to put sex tourism in places will have more positives than negatives. One of the main reasons it would be legalized is that it is way safer for the workers and regulated to insure there are certain locations where it can be done at. Sometimes on the news a story will appear how a prostitute ends up being found in a random ditch. Another reason is that instead of the prostitute paying a pimp for protection and the money not going towards anything important, part of the money the workers make will go to taxes. Now, I’m not for tasing taxes or even paying them at all in general but this will give the government more of a reason to not adjust the taxes in a negative way because they were never bringing in this revenue in the first place. Not everywhere will have sex tourism just the places within the country that want it. You look at the Netherlands and see that what they put it place attracts tourist not only for the sex but the tourists end up spending money in the local economy. The money would be spent at local small businesses and who knows if that would ever happen in the first place if sex tourism wasn’t legal in that given area.
