Do you consider tourist crowds primarily a nuisance or a security risk?

Pretty much wherever you go on vacation chances are you will see some tourists, some locations more some not so much. I personally would consider tourist groups both a nuisance and security risk, it all depends on where you’re vacation is. Generally, I feel they are more of a nuisance because the majority of places where there are large crowds is a place that doesn’t matter to the surrounding environment. Places that it would be a security risk is where things are more likely to go wrong with the more people you add to the certain area. An example of a security risk place would be a museum with very expensive artworks where there is a possibility it could get damaged or stolen. When I recently went to Hawaii on vacation the past year, I could tell that where I was going I was considered a nuisance. Locals on the island do not like tourists very much and will let you know. There was not a security risk there because nothing really happened to the point where I actually had to be worried. In my hometown of Ormond Beach FL, large tourist groups can be considered dangerous due to all the people on the beach during spring break. For the occasion, people on spring break don’t really care about their surroundings and just want to rage and get drunk on the beach with massive mosh pits like crowds. In the past it is common for pepople to get injured because of this.
